Intel lowers some of its processors more than 100 Euros during Prime Day

One of the components that is usually foreign to Prime Day or Black Friday, are the processors. This rule has been broken, surely, seeking to clean up the store before the next generation arrives at the end of the year. In an unusual move, Intel has reduced several of its best processors by up to 48%.

According to rumors, the 14th Generation of Intel Core processors should arrive by the end of the year. Little is known about this new family, except for a slight change in the name and an increase in performance. They will still keep the hybrid core design and should be better on integrated graphics.

Before the next generation of processors arrives, Intel will need to clear out as much stock as possible. Amazon Prime Day seems to be a good date to start this process. We have a Core i3 at an interesting price, several Core i5s, a Core i7 and even a Core i9.

The most interesting processor is the Intel Core i5-11400F for 104 euros, which normally costs more than 200 euros. This processor offers us no less than 6 power cores and 12 threads, being brutal for gaming. It has a base frequency of 2.6 GHz and can reach 4.4 GHz in Boost mode.

Perhaps the most negative thing about this processor is that it lacks integrated graphics. This means that if our graphics card breaks, we will not be able to use the computer. Note that this processor only supports DDR4 RAM.

If you want something of the latest generation, it has the Intel Core i5-13600KF for 290 euros. This processor is characterized by having 8 efficiency cores and 6 power cores. We are talking about a beast of a processor that works at a base frequency of 2.6 GHz for the E-Core and 3.5 GHz for the P-Core, which can go up to 5.1 GHz.

As with the previous model, this one lacks integrated graphics as they are disabled. Something interesting is that this processor supports DDR4 RAM and also DDR5. We will therefore depend on the motherboard when choosing the RAM memory.

Other interesting alternatives

We also have the Intel Core i3-13100F processor for 127 euros. This processor has only 4 power cores and no efficiency cores. This processor works at a base frequency of 3.4 GHz and can reach 4.5 GHz in Boost mode.

It does not have integrated graphics, as these are disabled because they would have been defective during the manufacturing process. It offers us support for DDR4 or DDR5 RAM memory. The truth is that the Core i5-11400F is a much better option.

Let’s go now with the Intel Core i5-12400 processor for 172 euros. This processor has 6 cores and 12 threads working at a base frequency of 2.5 GHz and reaching 4.4 GHz in Boost mode. The good thing about this processor is that it includes integrated Intel UHD 730 @ 1.45 GHz graphics. It is not a graphics card for play, but if the dedicated graphics leaves us stranded, we can continue using the computer.

We also have the Intel Core i7-13700 processor for 377 euros. We are talking about a beast of a processor with 8 efficiency cores and 8 power cores. The efficiency cores work at a maximum frequency of up to 4.1 GHz and the power cores reach up to 5.2 GHz.

It offers us an integrated Intel UHD 770 graphics card that reaches up to 1.6 GHz which, although it is not enough to play, will allow us to continue using the computer without problems. Note that it offers support for DDR4 and DDR5, so we can choose the motherboard that interests us the most.

You may be looking to play in 4K and stream, for you there is the Intel Core i9-13900K for 551 euros. We are talking about a brutal processor with 16 efficiency cores and 8 power cores. The efficient cores work at a maximum frequency of up to 4.3 GHz and the power ones reach 5.8 GHz, total madness.

It includes the Intel UHD 770 @ 1.65 GHz graphics card, which is great to help with rendering. The ideal with this processor is to use DDR5, but it also supports DDR4.
