A limited number of Netflix customers in certain countries can visit Netflix.com on supported browsers on a PC or Mac to play two test games, and these are even accessible on TVs. Games can be played with a standard keyboard and mouse.
After dabbling in mobile games for the past two years, Netflix is now experimenting with streaming games to TVs and the web, all using a remote control on your smartphone. So far, Netflix only offered games on Android phones or tablets running Android 8.0 or higher later and on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS/iPadOS 15 or later.
The test will only cover two games: Oxenfreea supernatural adventure game from Netflix’s own studio, and a new title titled Molehew’s Mining Adventurewhich the company describes as a gem-mining arcade game.

Netflix video games are coming to TV and PC

Starting today, select subscribers will have access to a limited beta test for Netflix Games on TV. Initially, Amazon, Chromecast, LG, Nvidia Sheild, Roku, Samsung and Walmart TVs will support Netflix Games, with more to be added over time. Additionally, in the coming weeks, Netflix.com will also start allowing subscribers to play games through a browser on PC and Mac.
On PC, games will be able to be played via the web using a mouse and keyboard, but on TVs, games will require you to use your phone as a controller. It appears that the games use cloud gaming, i.e. they will not run natively on your machine. They will be executed in Netflix data centers, then streamed to your device live. For now, the new beta test is only available only in Canada and the United Kingdom.
