Kingston launches new DC600M SSDs

The Kingston DC600M series is introduced as a new generation of high performance SSDs. high resistance It is mainly aimed at companies and professionals, which also offers a fairly high maximum storage capacity, since in their top-of-the-range configurations these units can offer a maximum of 7.68TB of storage capacity.

The Kingston DC600M are equipped with a system of power loss protection that operates at the hardware level, which is a guarantee of data integrity against possible blackouts or problems in the electricity supply. This is interesting, but without a doubt the most striking thing is the enormous resistance they offer to write cycles, since they can reach a maximum of 14,016 TBW (terabytes). Even the most affordable model has a resistance of 876 TBW.

All of these new SSDs use the 2.5-inch format, are only 7mm thick, and are compatible with SATA III interface. This means that their working speeds are not as high as those of PCIe SSD drives, but they are well above HDD drives and, as we have already seen, they have a long useful life.

All Kingston DC600M drives are built with 3D-stacked TLC (three bits per cell) memory, use enterprise-class SMART technology, feature 256-bit AES encryption, and can be purchased in configurations of 480GB, 960GB, 1.92TB, 3.84TB, and 7.68TB. Their working speeds are 560 MB/s sequential read and 530 MB/s sequential write. In random reading and writing it reaches 94,000 IOPS and 78,000 IOPs, respectively.

We do not have details on the sale prices, but Kingston has confirmed that they will hit the market with a 5 year warranty.
