TikTok streamlines interactions with fans
Currently, TikTok creators can only reply to fans by replying to comments or creating videos that address specific questions. The new Q&A feature will make it easier for popular creators to answer the barrage of questions asked daily.
The Social Media Consultant, Matt Navarra , saw the question and answer function for the first time and took to Twitter to announce your findings. The question and answer button will appear on a user’s profile, allowing fans to ask questions and then wait for the creator’s response via text, video, or even a live stream.
Alternatively, fans can also use Tik Tok’s new feature for questions and answers when leaving comments. They simply have to select the Q&A button before commenting , and their comment will be added to the creator’s question queue.
This does make it much easier for creators to read and answer questions. Instead of scrolling through dozens of comments, creators can have a collection of questions in a single list . There is no limit to the number of questions that can be asked of a creator, and creators are not required to answer all of them.
At this time, only creators Audiences with 10,000 followers or more have access to the feature. These creators must choose to participate in the trial in the Settings menu of the application. This feature is scheduled to begin rolling out to more creators around the world in a matter of weeks.
Q&A has become an integral part of social media communication. They keep fans engaged and give creators the opportunity to interact directly with fans. That’s why Stories on Instagram have quickly become a hub for question and answer sessions, while YOLO built into Snapchat has become a popular way for users to ask anonymous questions.

TikTok’s move to make Q & As an in-app feature is smart. With questions and answers becoming more popular across all platforms, TikTok can become the go-to platform for question and answer sessions.
The platform is continually testing and adding new features , so it’s no wonder TikTok has exploded in popularity. Other platforms, such as Snapchat and Instagram, have implemented short-term video features in an attempt to compete with TikTok. As it stands, Snapchat Spotlight and Instagram Reels have yet to topple TikTok from its pedestal.
