MobiScribe Wave Color, digital diary, eReader and tablet

MobiScribe Wave Color is a mobile device with e ink color screen that serves as an electronic book reader, as a tablet and as a digital diary designed to take handwritten notes thanks to the Wacom EMR stylus that supports up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

The new MobiScribe device is based on a multi-touch screen of 7.8 inches with native resolution of 1404 x 1872 pixels in grayscale. In color low and quite, up to 468 x 624 pixels. Although MobiScribe Wave Color is designed to serve as a digital diary, it runs an operating system based on Android 12 that allows it to act as a tablet to useload third-party apps, and use it as an e-book reader or other apps that work well with e-ink displays.

The manufacturer includes pre-installed applications for take notes and draw pictures and features optical character recognition to convert handwritten notes to printed text. It has search capability and we assume almost everything that a basic tablet with Android could do, but on an electronic ink screen that, as you know, stands out for its ability to display texts and its ultra-low consumption.

The MobiScribe Wave Color is now available in some regions and is priced at 320 dollars.
