NetApp has announced the launch of AFF C-Seriesa family of all-flash storage solutions for data centers characterized by offering storage at an adjusted cost, and the basic all-flash storage system AFF A150, from the AFF A-Series range.
Systems in the AFF C-Series range offer high storage capacity for a lower total cost of ownership, and with a smaller storage footprint. They all carry the ONTAP One suite of tools, licensed to include all available NetApp software.
In addition, NetApp has introduced its range of storage programs and guarantees NetApp Advance, available now, and which aims to facilitate preparation for storage needs in on-premise environments. With it, the company’s customers have more flexibility and possibilities for their storage investment, thanks to the ability to right-size local storage that it offers, as well as the possibility of making the transition to storage as a service or to the cloud, depending on the needs of the company.
The NetApp AFF C-Series range of storage solutions consists of the models AFF C250, AFF C400 and AFF C800. All three guarantee storage efficiency, with the aim of improving the company’s carbon footprint and energy costs. This can also reduce the total cost of ownership and simplify operations.
These storage systems also have 24/7 on-premises scalability, allowing you to expand capacity and performance as needed. Regarding data security, they incorporate protection against ransomware.

It has high availability, and is compatible with MetroCluster IP.
All of the systems announced by NetApp are intended for entry-level, high-end workloads; such as virtual machines, databases and backup consolidation. They offer all kinds of ONTAP data management. Both the NetApp AFF C-Series range and the NetApp AFF A150 system will be available starting in March. In addition, within a few months they will also be available with the integrated FlexPod infrastructure, both from NetApp and from Cisco.
