The weekend has arrived, a moment that many of us try to take advantage of to scratch some time and play our favorite games, those that during the week we cannot play as we would like because our day-to-day responsibilities prevent us from doing so.
In my case, I rarely play during the week because I end up so tired after so many hours in front of the screen that when I think about the idea of spending another hour or two, even if it’s just playing, I completely lose the desire. There are times when I am able to get down and enjoy myself for a while, but I don’t usually last more than an hour straight without exhausting myself
It’s a pity, really, because I can no longer enjoy those games as deep as before, to which you had to dedicate hours and hours to be able to fully explore a specific map, or in which you had to farm for a long time to get the equipment you needed.
The last game I spent more time on than usual was Diablo II Resurrectedand in this one I ended up getting “wealth” pulling speculation and trading, I only had a little luck with the farms to start, but the rest was all “wild capitalism” taking advantage of the supply and demand of the beginning of the game (in weeks after its release).
Due to this lack of time, and sometimes I need something simple and fun, I have a streak in which I am throwing a lot of retro games, but this weekend it is clear to me that I’m going to take the opportunity to give Diablo IV a boost. Coinciding with the start of the first season, I made myself a new character, a necromancer, and I have the battle pass, so I’ll try to go as far as I can.
If I have time, or if I need to break the routine a bit, maybe I’ll take the opportunity to play a little the challenges of Days Gone or the mercenary mode of Resident Evil 4 Remake. I might also come back with some retro title, like Mega Drive’s Shadow Dancer, which is a true work of art. And you, what are you going to play this weekend? we read each other
