After occupying the fourth place of the countries generating the most traffic on Pornhub in 2021, the site has probably gained popularity with us this year.
Indeed, Pornhub reveals that France is now ranked third, just behind the United Kingdom and the United States. Japan, formerly third, is now relegated to fourth place. In the top 10, we find then Mexico, Italy, Germany, the Philippines and Brazil. The site points out that the top 20 countries account for 79.3% of Pornhub’s daily traffic.
What are the most popular categories in France?
The ranking of the most searched terms with us has not been completely turned upside down since previous years. The two most popular searches are still “French” and “hentai”, but this time are followed by “milf”, “lesbian” and “French amateur”. Other categories also saw their popularity explode this year. Searches for “sex doll” increased by +363% and those for “real encounter” by +225%.
As for the most popular actors and actresses, we find Abella Danger, Lana Rhoades, Mia Khalifa, Tiffany Leiddi and Angela White. In terms of the most popular categories, the “lesbian” category takes first place. It is followed by the categories “anal”, “french”, “ebony” and “threesome”.
Besides, Pornhub points out that certain categories are much more sought after in France than in the rest of the world. With us, the “French” category is for example 798% more consulted than in other countries, while the “anal” category is also 146% more popular.
This growing popularity of Porhub in France is part of a rather particular framework, since Arcom recently took legal action to ban pornographic sites here. Since then, several sites including Pornhub have not hesitated to counterattack.
