The French group Septeo arrives in our country. It does so with the acquisition of Sequoiasoft, a company specialized in the development of software for the hospitality sector. In addition, it has also recently announced the acquisition of the holding company Neo Hospitality, so that it seeks to consolidate itself as one of the leading companies in Europe in this vertical.
The new vertical adds to the French multinational’s offering in other sectors (Notary, Legaltech, Real Estate, IT Solutions) and to the intense growth of the group in the last three years, especially through new acquisitions, which has led it to count with 62 companies within the group, 2,800 collaborators (550 dedicated to R&D tasks) and 44 offices around the world, including France, Belgium, Tunisia, Canada and the United States, while providing services in 25 countries.
After the acquisition, the Sequoiasoft brand disappears and he is at the head of Septeo Spain and Portugal. Manuel Ortiz who, in the presentation of the new project, commented that “in recent years, Sequoiasoft has experienced significant growth in France and Spain, consolidating itself as a main player in software solutions for the hospitality market. “The creation of a new vertical within Septeo will provide a renewed dimension to the project.”
The group therefore inherits the know-how from Sequoiasoft that includes the development of value-added solutions throughout the sector’s value chain, which includes commercial and financial management (ERP, billing, etc.) and customers (CRM), as well as its own e-commerce solutions And control. All of this translates into the unification of its product catalog into five new brands: unicamp, mastercamping, tesipro, hotelsdot and Revenue Control Data.
As Ortiz himself has explained, the group is also intensifying its AI proposal, so that in areas such as productivity, learning or creativity, its clients can do more and obtain better results in less time; also and as it could not be otherwise, in the field of cybersecurity, so that “we can accompany our clients in an increasingly demanding environment, so that they have the peace of mind that we monitor their risks and thus they can concentrate on their customers”.
