The ZOLA are the new bet from Teufel, an old well-known German brand with a music lover spirit, which is entering the gaming world, mainly in its comfort zone, that of sound. And he is not giving bad.
When we open the usual craft cardboard box with a simple design, we find ourselves, in contrast, with forceful helmets, with a modern finish and accessories in vibrant colors, unlike the usual more sober and elegant lines to which we are accustomed. It is not a complaint, there is always a moment for everything.

The Teufel ZOLA headphones have a strong weight and dimensions. However, its specifications are designed to guarantee comfort in long periods of use, and it succeeds. This is thanks to the over-ear design of its pads, which perfectly envelop the ear; because they are made of a thick and breathable woven padding; and its padded headband, which fits perfectly without squeezing, even after several hours of use. It is true that this varies a lot depending on the physiognomy of each one, and how the device adapts, but in my case they have been really comfortable after long days of use. And even, according to the manufacturer, they are suitable for users with glasses.
These are wired headphones that include a small control to adjust both the volume and to activate or deactivate the microphone, and that includes a small clip in case you want to attach it to your clothes.
As Teufel has accustomed us to, these headphones are made of quality materials, including aluminum and plastic, which guarantees their durability. One of the most notable aspects that is especially attractive about the ZOLA is that of customization. They are available in two base colours, light gray and dark grey, but the accessories (ear pads, covers and microphone protector which are included and can be purchased separately) can be found in six different colours: coral red, dark grey, golden amber, aqua greenish (the one we have been able to test), light gray and teal & lime. Which makes a total of 12 different combinations, even more if we decide to buy accessories of different colors.
As a detail, even in the audio software interface you can customize the image that appears of the Teufel ZOLA so that they are the same as the ones you have, or even make color combinations in order to buy other accessories.
Sound
ZOLA headphones are equipped with 40mm wide-band drivers that deliver powerful, deep bass performance, natural mids, and smooth highs. The design of the ear cushion, as we have mentioned before, is closed, which helps to isolate the sound from the environment and improve immersion.
They include DTS Headphone:X V2 technology, which provides 7.1 binaural surround sound on PC. Seeing it from a more gamer point of view, this technology allows for precise location of opponents and a more immersive gaming experience. Much appreciated.
It also has Teufel’s own software that is specific to this model. In addition to adjusting the volume, microphone and activating or deactivating the surround mode, it has a voice filter option called “Magic voice”, which allows us to give our voice a funnier tone, although not suitable for work meetings. Finally, the most interesting option is the equalizer, which allows you to choose between 5 predefined modes and the Custom option, to choose the settings that best suit you.

They incorporate an integrated DSP, allowing for personalized and optimized sound tuning to deliver an immersive and lossless audio experience.
In addition to the USB connection for lossless, DSP-optimized digital transmission, the ZOLA headphones also feature an AUX connection with a secure bayonet connector. This auxiliary connection includes cable kink protection, ensuring a safe and reliable connection.
The pack includes a detachable and adjustable microphone thanks to its flexible arm. It features a built-in HD condenser, which ensures excellent speech intelligibility, even for working from home or online gaming sessions.
