As of today, June 13, 2023, a huge number of young people in our country have the possibility of requesting a 400-euro aid offered by the Government. You just have to meet a series of requirements that we will explain here in addition to what you can spend that money on.
As we tell you, today begins the period in which to request the aid of 400 euros for young people that ends on September 30 of this year. All this is part of the so-called Youth Bonus 2023 campaign to which those born in the past year 2005 and who reach the age of majority in the present 2023 will be able to access. But at the same time this year we are going to find an important novelty, since they will be able to access this aid that we meet this other requirement .
And it is that the young born in the previous year, 2004, and who have not enjoyed the aid that was launched in the past 2022, they will also be able to request it within this period now. It is important to know that the cultural aid for this campaign was approved by the Council of Ministers a few months ago. The young people that we have mentioned to you can enjoy it and a budget of 210 million euros was assigned to it.
How to ask for the help of 400 euros
As a curiosity, we will say that the same bonus in the form of aid launched last year 2022, was requested and enjoyed by almost 278,000 young people. As long as they are within this age range and within the time period that we have mentioned, requesting these euros is very simple. For this we will only have to access the website that has been launched for these tasks by the Ministry of Culture and Sport. We access it directly from this link.
Here we already find the corresponding direct links to those born in 2005 and for those born in 2004. It must be taken into account that we will have to identify ourselves digitally, for which we need a digital certificate or use the Cl@ve method. Once we have officially identified ourselves, we can request these 400 euros to spend the various leisure elements that we will discuss later. It is important to know that the bonus does not discriminate against anyone based on their level of income or current income.
It can also be requested at any Post Office by providing the appropriate documentation that we can download from the website that we specified before.
What can young people spend this bonus on?
The first thing we must keep in mind is that, when investing this Cultural Bonus money, it is distributed in three tranches. We describe these to you below so that you can get an approximate idea of how to spend them if you are suitable for it.
- 100 euros for physical products: This specific section includes books, magazines, press or other publications. Likewise, we can spend it on physical video games, discs, CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray.
- 100 euros in digital products: This includes elements such as subscriptions and rentals to music and video platforms, reading, subscribing and downloading multimedia files, podcasts, subscriptions to online games, or digital press.
- 200 euros for performing arts: as you can imagine here they include tickets and subscriptions for artistic shows, live music, cinema, museums, libraries, festivals, and more.
