The APIs of Catalonia and Proptech LATAM sign an agreement

The Real Estate Agents (API) of Catalonia will collaborate with the real estate sector in Latin America. This has been signed in a collaboration agreement that will link the Association of Real Estate Agents of Catalonia (AIC) and Proptech LATAM, a platform that brings together the leaders and disruptors of the real estate industry in Latin America.

The objective is to establish new opportunities for Proptech between Spain and Latin America, generate business between both markets, share knowledge and accompany the transformation of the real estate sector, especially in this area. In addition, a Proptech Map of Latin American companies in this segment will be drawn up, similar to the one that the APIs of Catalonia have already developed for the Spanish sector and which, in its latest edition last May, has already reached 565 companies throughout the national territory.

Vicenç Hernández Rechepresident of the AIC and CEO of Tecnotramit, and Anna Puigdevall, general director of the AIC and treasurer of FIABCI Spain, both experts in Proptech and co-authors of the book Revolución Proptech, assure that “Agreements with organizations of the importance and transversality of Proptech LATAM allow us to create new opportunities and business channels between two industries whose markets have a more direct relationship every day in a globalized world in which digitalization eliminates barriers and accelerates the technological transformation of our society, from companies to the final consumer”.

Today PropTech LATAM is a platform that brings together players in the region who seek to connect, learn and do business in the face of a new era in our real estate industry, more technological and digital than ever. Innovation and disruption are the key to our work. This is what we seek to convey in everything we do. For this reason, alliances such as the one we have reached with the APIs of Catalonia, as well as establishing synergies that add value, are one more step towards that objective”. indicate from the Latin American organization.
