Our tests of the week

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: a good game that lacks a little daring

Of course, we love the aerobatic system and some side missions are very nice, but we regret that the scenario is not more in-depth. The combat system is effective, the VF is quality and the size of the playing field has doubled. It’s a title that will seduce you, but which also doesn’t spark, and we would have appreciated a little more risk-taking on the part of the Insomniac studio.

Xiaomi Pad 6: almost flawless

Xiaomi is making its return to the mid-range tablet market and hitting hard with its Pad 6. Good quality/price ratio, beautiful 144 Hz screen, neat finishes and good experience with its stylus, it is a tablet that will seduce with its versatility. Be careful, the photo quality is not great and the battery life is decreasing. A good tablet that would have deserved some additional improvements compared to the Pad 5.

OnePlus Open: the best foldable smartphone on the market?

The OnePlus Open is a very attractive foldable smartphone, which will convince you thanks to the good calibration of its screens, its power and its excellent autonomy. Design-wise, it’s not particularly a pretty product. Be careful, if you are looking for a good photophone or a quality audio system, go your way. OnePlus offers here a phone in a successful “fold” format but too expensive.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: an excellent high-end tablet

In our opinion, this is the best tablet on the market, and you would be right to go for it if you have an XXL budget. If we put aside its size which could put off some users, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is technically perfect. We love its pretty design, its beautiful AMOLED screen, its autonomy, its powerful processor and its software part. Please note, for a complete and interesting experience, we recommend that you purchase the keyboard that comes with the tablet.

Google Pixel 8: questionable quality/price ratio

Of course, Google offers here a compact and powerful smartphone which will appeal to you if you are looking to take beautiful photos. The screen is impeccable and we appreciate the absence of commercial applications within the interface. Unfortunately, for 150 euros more to pay compared to its predecessor, we also pay more attention to the defects of the device. Battery life is average, the Tensor G3 doesn’t always hold up to the competition and the speakers lack power.
