On the occasion of the launch of the Resident Evil 4 remake, Capcom is sharing a series of quite original animated shorts with which to promote the new game, and the truth is that the result is quite curious. Produced by Nippon Animation, the drawings will quickly remind you of the mythical Heidi series, with the difference that here the main character is violently attacked by possessed beings.
The cute anime of Resident Evil
With the name of Leon and the Mysterious Village, the small animated series is made up of various shorts that Capcom is releasing to account drops. At the moment there are three chapters that can be seen, and they are available in original Japanese and subtitled in English.

The short clips tell the story of Leon, who desperately tries to find Ashley in the mysterious town where she is. Unfortunately, the ending for each chapter is always the same, since whether with an ax blow to the head or being run over by a helicopter, the lives of our protagonists tragically end with the classic “you’re dead” from the zombie franchise.
If you want to take a look at the three shorts that have been published, we’ll leave them below so you can have a laugh.

A formula that works
Capcom has found a tremendous vein in its remakes. After the first three original deliveries, the arrival of this fourth edition (for more than one their favourite), completes a fantastic cycle that is bringing many benefits to the subsidiary, as well as being able to bring the famous franchise to younger players who don’t have had the opportunity to play them on the original platform.
