As any geek will know, when Comic-Con looms, it’s time to prepare for a barrage of news. Though the most recognized is the one that takes place in San Diego at the end of July, don’t underestimate the one in New York, since it is usually also full of some of the most anticipated premieres for the coming years… or months.
The most important announcements
Although we do not have some of the great entertainment giants such as Marvel, DC or Disney on their panels, they have participated with others such as Amazon, Paramount or Netflix. Next we will tell you some of the most relevant announcements that occurred during the NYCC.
The Rings of Power
Amazon, during the convention, began warming up the engines for the end of the first season of The Rings of Power with a trailer that left fans wanting to see soon the one that promises to be an epic outcome on October 14. In addition, it was confirmed that its second season begins filming in the coming weeks. We want more of the Lord of the Rings universe!

The series, which brings us back to the mythical character of Jean-Luc Picard played by Patrick Stewart, presented a new preview for its next season that promises to be a real delight for fans of star trek. It will arrive at Paramount on February 16, 2023 so, quite possibly, by then we will already have the platform available in Spain, which, to be honest, gives the feeling that they are thinking about it too much.
Star Trek Discovery

Star Trek Prodigy
Also, those responsible for the franchise released a new preview of the new chapters of star trek prodigy, the series that aims to introduce a younger audience to this mythical space franchise. The series will return to Paramount+ with new episodes on October 27. When will it arrive in Spain?
Doctor Who
Another of those series that has become a cult phenomenon is doctor wheither. With almost 60 years of history, at the end of this month of October we will be able to see how the Thirteenth Doctor stage comes to an end in a one-hour special long, as happened with the previous doctors in the series, to make way for a new protagonist. What a shame it makes us see her leave the series…
