A couple of weeks ago we told you that the MINISFORUM TH50 was in its final stage of development, and that its launch was only a matter of time. Today we can confirm that this equipment is already available for pre-purchase, and that the first units will begin to arrive as of February next year.
The MINISFORUM TH50 maintains the design, and the hardware configuration, that we saw at the time. No changes of any kind have been made, which means that we have a team that fits seamlessly into any workspace, but that Despite its small size, it is capable of offering a good level of performance.
Regarding its specifications, the MINISFORUM TH50 is available with three settings different:
- One with 16GB of RAM and no storage unit, which has a pre-purchase price of $ 529 ($ 629 without presale), 468 euros to change.
- Another with 16 GB of RAM that adds a 256 GB SSD, and that costs 569 dollars in pre-order (689 dollars without pre-order), 503 euros to change.
- A third with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD, which is priced at $ 599 in pre-order ($ 719 without pre-order), 530 euros to change.
The MINISFORUM TH50 has, in all its configurations, a processor Intel Core i5-11320H, which has four cores and eight threads. It uses Willow Cove architecture and therefore has a high CPI. Its integrated GPU uses Intel’s Gen12 Xe architecture.
Regarding connectivity, the MINISFORUM TH50 has:
- 2 x 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports.
- 1 x HDMI port.
- 1 x DisplayPort.
- 4 x USB ports 3.
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports.
- 1 x microphone input (3.5mm jack).
- 1 x headphone or speaker output (3.5mm jack).
- 1 x USB Type-C.
- 1 x Thunderbolt 4.
So that temperatures are not a problem, the MINISFORUM TH50 has an active cooling system that removes hot air from inside the equipment. Its possibilities of expansion are also good, since it allows to mount 2.5 inch storage drives, and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
