During the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference held this June, the Cupertino company presented some of the new functions of the Apple Watch thanks to the arrival of watchOS 8. Well, one of these functions that did not appear as available in the beta versions It is now available, it is about the sphere portraits and photos. Developers who have the beta version installed on their computers are already testing and enjoying this new sphere on Apple Watch.

This Portraits & Photos sphere is brand new

As Apple explains well, this Photos sphere is one of the most popular among Apple Watch users, and watchOS 8 now offers new ways to view and interact with all these photos that we have stored on our devices. With the new Portraits sphere, iPhone portraits are brought to life with a multi-layered wraparound effect that intelligently recognizes faces in photos and crops them to make the subject stand out.

The Photos app has also been redesigned and now offers new ways to view and navigate collections. Plus, Memories and Featured Photos sync with Apple Watch, and photos can be shared via Messages and Mail with the new Share menu.

Now developers can start testing this sphere and surely in the next beta versions released by Apple will arrive other new features implemented in the operating system of the Apple Watch. This time they have presented several novelties but they are not launching them at once but in a more staggered way.
