Is it a good time, or a bad idea?
And here comes the important question. Is it advisable to buy this GPU now that it is at a price below that recommended by the brand?
In our opinion, no. When the initial sale cost that it would have came to light, we already said that it seemed super exaggerated compared to what it could offer, and that is the reason why web pages are seeing that their sales are practically nil and they have to do something to get rid of that stock.
The official price set by the company at its launch was €329. Just a few days after your first sales We can already find it at around €310 or even less.
For now it still seems like a somewhat high cost, its best value for money could be around €299, a value for which we bet it would come out. Therefore, if you are thinking of acquiring one, it is not a bad option to take one of these offers, but do not be fooled either, it is not the best bargain you are going to get.
In any case, the competition to sell this GPU and not keep thousands of them unsold means that official suppliers have to fight to improve the price and be the best purchase option for the user, so waiting a little longer can be the most recommended. We doubt that if 5 days after leaving it is already at €310 it will go up again at some point.
As we said, our base price would be €299 since we can compare it with the AMD RX 7600 GPU, which we can find for that budget and that it is a very similar option or even something better. Therefore, acquiring this for a higher value is something illogical that is carrying out an absolute failure a few days after the launch. We don’t know how much stock they will have manufactured, or what sales they expected, but I’m sure they have stopped their production a bit if they don’t want to lose a lot of money with this new product, which for now has been an absolute failure.
We will be aware of news and offers that may arise regarding this graphics card and we will see if the competition responds, making it even more difficult for them, who see how they will finally have to practically put them at cost price to at least assume the possible losses that they may have. Any price drop that we detect again we will let you know, and who knows, if it continues at this rate it will still become a great option and everything. We will know soon.
