This 2022 will be remembered for being the year of the non-E3. And it is that, although the event has not been held in Los Angeles, this week we have had different loose events that have come to replace the cancellation of the fair. First we had a State of Play from Sony. Then came a Summer Game Fest that neither was celebrated in summer, nor was it a party. Yesterday, the week closed in style with the PC Gaming Show and one Microsoft and Bethesda presentation which finally raised the spirits of the players. final fantasy xvi
Since the release of Final Fantasy XV In 2016, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next main installment in this beloved JRPG series. In the State of Play, Sony dared to show the release date of this long-awaited title, whose launch will be in summer 2023.
Hollow Knight: Silk Song
After a first part considered a masterpiece, many players have been waiting for a sequel to this title since 2017. Yesterday, Microsoft finally confirmed that the game will be out in the next 12 months.
Street Fighter 6
This franchise, stopped since 2016, will finally have a new title in 2023. Jamie will be a new fighter, who will join Chun-Li, Ryu and Luke, who are the confirmed characters so far.
Minecraft Legends
This RTS will be the new title from Mojang Studios, which will take advantage of the assets of Minecraft to create a whole strategy game. We will see it in 2023.
Starfield
The closure of Bethesda was done with the long-awaited Starfielda game that pursues the same objective as No Man’s Sky, but with much more ambition. Quite a few cinematics were presented, as well as a gameplay of the game On Twitter all kinds of comments were made about its graphics engine. Overwatch 2
This second installment of Overwatch will be passed to free-to-playand will come 4th of October. As you can see, the title is almost finished, so we just have to wait.
Devil IV
This long-awaited title will arrive in 2023, and will premiere a fifth class, the necromancer. It will have non-linear progression and there will be multiple ways to traverse its open world. His announcement alone was already more exciting than the entire Summer Game Fest.
The Callisto Protocol
East survival-horror is the spiritual successor of dead space, and will arrive in December of this year. It was presented at Sony’s State of Play.
Ark 2
How would you survive a world full of dinosaurs? Vin Diesel has it clear: taming them. Ark 2 will arrive in the first half of 2023, and possibly, it will be accompanied by an animated series.
Forza Motorsport
After a Forza Motorsport 7 that ended up disappearing from the Microsoft store, the simulator will return in spring 2023 with a title that aims very high.
The Last of Us Part 1 Remake
It was the highlight of the Summer Game Fest, although the surprise it was broken just a couple of hours before Geoff Keighley’s event started.
