What kind of startups is an accelerator like Lanzadera interested in?

The startup accelerator belonging to Marina de Empresas has selected almost a hundred new companies that innovate in health, logistics, marketing with influencers, talent and HR, food, fintech or fashion, among others.

“This selection of companies somehow reflects the remarkable innovation that entrepreneurs are bringing to areas such as human resources or logistics, as well as the growth potential of SaaS models. We observe a greater scalability of the projects, which is very motivating for our work“, Explain Javier JimenezCEO of Shuttle.

Shuttle has promoted more than 900 companies and has provided more than 20 million euros in loans. Since its foundation, the promoted startups have obtained €615M in total investment and have generated more than 8,000 jobs.

Each team is driven in one of the four phases of which the program consists:

1. Scale Up Phase, for mature companies that have a proven and profitable model but need help to reach new goals.
2. Growth Phase, to promote companies with potential but that seek faster growth.
3. Traction phase, for startups in the initial phase.
4. Start Phase, for entrepreneurs who are still shaping their project.

Depending on their needs, selected companies can receive from aid of 1,000 euros to financing worth 500,000 euros. In addition, some of the startups will be able to collaborate with large companies through the Corporate agreements or the sectoral Hubs that Lanzadera develops in sectors such as mobility, retail or health.
