The developers of Diablo 4 have detailed the experience that awaits adventurers after the end of the game. Blizzard hopes to keep it going for several years and is inspired by successful titles like Fortnite or Warzone with a Battle Pass system. The studio promises, however, that anything that can be purchased will be cosmetic only.

Diablo 4 is less than a month away from the release and fans are in the starting blocks. The big challenge of this new component is the “endgame”, what happens once the main quest is over. Blizzard intends to hold players over several years and details today how he intends to go about it.

Some elements have already been given on this famous “endgame” a few weeks ago, but the studio gives more details in a stream. To hope to keep adventurers in Sanctuary, he is inspired by formulas that work, such as those of Fortnite, Warzone or Destiny 2 with Battle Passes.

Diablo 4 will feature a Battle Pass system

Diablo 4, like the previous installment before it, will have a season system. Each of them will last three months and will bring “new concepts and new ideas” to the game. We can expect new quests, exclusive dungeons, challenges met or even rewards to unlock. The first season will arrive during the month of July.

These seasons will revolve around a Battle Pass. This will consist of 27 free levels and 63 premium levels. By not putting your hand in the wallet, it will be possible to unlock nice little rewards by collecting “favors”. A Premium system will be set up for 10 euros, giving access to otherwise inaccessible levels. The user can choose to buy the “accelerated” Battle Pass for 25 euros which directly unlocks the first 20 levels of this pass. Blizzard also touched on the topic of the store. Only cosmetic attire will be sold there, similar to what is done in World of Warcraft. Some sets will therefore be exclusive to those who have taken out their credit card.

As a reminder, Diablo 4 will be released on June 6. on PC and consoles (except Switch). Players who pre-ordered it will be able to enjoy it from June 2.
