Alfredo Yépez joins as HPE leader for Southern Europe and Latin America

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced to Alfredo Yepez as leader of the new regional organization that has been enlarged and now covers both Southern Europe and Latin America.

Yépez has been installed in the Spanish capital on January 2 and the company has made its official presentation at an event where they have made themselves known the new functions of the manager. In this role, Alfredo takes full responsibility for the end-to-end management of HPE’s business, people and operations across the region.

In addition to assuming responsibility for HPE’s Southern Europe (SEUR) region, which includes Spain, Italy, Greece, and Israel, he has been appointed President and CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Spain.

“I am excited about the opportunity to lead this new, expanded regional team, especially at a time when HPE’s edge-to-cloud portfolio is so well positioned to help our customers and partners achieve their digital transformations,” he said. In his presentation as the new regional leader, the manager has emphasized that the data managementthe security of the information and the sustainability IT operations will be the three focuses on which the company expects to grow in the coming years.

To meet these challenges, Yépez has recalled that HPE GreenLake is the main commitment of the multinational and which has been positioned since 2017 as a hybrid cloud proposal, in which companies enjoy the advantages of being able to have a private cloud, in a consumption model very similar to what they can find in a proposal of public cloud.
