AMD announces Ryzen 5000C processors for Chrome OS

Offering another important leap in its growing commitment to laptops, AMD has just introduced its new processors the Ryzen 5000C series, which will bring the Zen 3 architecture to premium devices based on Chrome OSwith SoCs that deliver long battery life and leading performance with up to eight high-performance x86 cores, the maximum available for Chrome OS.

Accompanied by improved Radeon graphics, the new Ryzen 5000C processors are expected to offer up to 67% faster responsiveness and up to 85% better graphics performance than the previous generation. In addition, they will provide other interesting improvements such as an update to their connectivity, compatible with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 to provide users with state-of-the-art connectivity and more data bandwidth than ever before.

Similarly, it is expected that in the coming months we will also see the debut of the rest of the Ryzen 5000C family, completed by the Ryzen 5 5625C, Ryzen 3 5425C and Ryzen 3 5125C.
