In 2017 Apple launched High Sierra 10.13 for all users, an operating system that brought many new features to our Macs. Six years later, the American company was able to decide that this software should no longer receive official support by the company and therefore, as of May it is more than likely that there will be no company service except with one exception. I say that it is likely because everything comes through a little-known analyst and a message from him on the social network Twitter.

macOS High Sierra 10.13 brought many novelties to the fore and to our Mac computers. For example, the new Apple file system (Apple File System) was included as one of the most interesting novelties. It was a new file system replacing HFS+ promising better performance. Primarily intended for Solid State Drives (SSDs). In fact, its installation on a hard drive of this type was recommended. Good ‘ol times!. But it is also included, Metal 2, which offered compatibility with VR (virtual reality) and support with eGPU (external graphics cards), and greater optimization in applications that use the GPU.

Now, six years after its launch, because it was launched in June 2017, it seems that the time has come to say goodbye to this version. It seems likely but there is no official statement. The information has been released by an analyst through the social network Twitter. @StellaFudge mentions that not only will macOS High Sierra 10.13 no longer be supported by Apple, but also iOS 11, watchOS 4-4.2.3 and tvOS 11-11.2.6 will also no longer receive that support from the company.

There is only one exception to this assumption. iCloud will continue to support these versions. It is logical, since users cannot be left without access to their backup copies and/or files.
