The ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 4090 is a graphics card with a fully custom design and finish truly unique. I know that graphics cards with AIO-type liquid cooling kits are nothing new, but as you can see in the attached images, this model has its own personality and style.
The cooling block is connected to a 360mm radiator that features three 120mm fans. Both the block and the fans have RGB LED lighting, and to speed up heat transfer and improve working temperatures, ASUS has introduced two important keys.
On the one hand, they have used a contact plate that allows collect heat from the GPU, graphics memory and VRM. On the other hand, they have applied Liquid metal as a conductive material, and they have taken maximum care in the design of the contact area to prevent said material from coming out. This is very important, because liquid metal is a material that conducts electricity.
To improve aesthetics and ease mounting, the ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 4090 uses fans with magnetic connectorsand has shaped one of the top-of-the-range graphics cards prettier and better designed that we remember
As expected, this graphics card uses a 16-pin power connector, and thanks to its cooling system it is capable of working at full load while maintaining some temperatures of only 60ยบ C. This is important because by moving in that temperature value the ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 4090 will be able to develop its turbo mode to the maximum, and this will translate into greater performance.
It is also compatible with Aura Lighting, it comes with a double BIOS that will allow us to switch between two work modes, quiet and performanceand will be available on a limited basis from the third quarter of 2023. We do not have details on the sale price, but we know that it will be a collector’s model and that this will make it difficult to obtain a unit.
At the specification level, the ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 4090 maintains the same base configuration as the GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition, including 24 GB of GDDR6X memory, although we do not yet know their working frequencies. It could come with overclock from home, or it may only apply when you activate the BIOS in performance mode, it is not clear yet.
