We already anticipated it yesterday, and today ASUS has confirmed its Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition and ROG Flow X16, two gaming laptops with an aesthetic that already indicates that we are not facing normal equipment, something that is confirmed by reviewing its technical specifications, which we will tell you a little later. But, to go ahead, if we normally talk about two families of very high-performance laptops, with these two models in particular, and especially with the Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE, anything less than beast falls short.
These two teams are one more example, and probably one of the most palpable, that that that laptops are not good for gaming has already become totally obsolete. And if the Strix SCAR 17 is an absolute top of the range, this ASUS ROG Flow X16 is also among the highest positions in the table, as we will see below.
Starting with its screen, the ASUS ROG Flow X16 rests on a brand new 16-inch MiniLED panel with QHD+ resolution resolution (2,560 x 1,600 points) in a 16:10 aspect ratio, capable of providing a brightness of up to 1,100 nits thanks to this technology. for content creators and designers, it is Pantone Validated and compatible with Dolby Vision. It is complemented by four noise-cancelling speakers and is compatible with Dolby Atmos.
Inside, as indicated before, we will find an integrated AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS, an APU with 8 cores for 16 threads with a maximum speed of 4.9 gigahertz and a TDP that can exceed 45 watts, being the most suitable variant of the chip for overclocking. Without being the top of the range of its generation, it is located at the very top of the table.
In the graphic section, the highest option we find is a GPU GeForce RTX 3070 Ti mobile with 8 gigabytes of GDDR6 VRAM.
