Too old for this bullshit? Nay. Brad Pitt, in better shape than ever, will camp an assassin in Bullet Train, by the director of Deadpool 2.
Brad Pitt is still far from having said his last word. Three years later Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and Ad Astra, the actor returns to the poster of an action film that promises fighting and also and above all a certain dose of humor. In front of David Leitch’s camera, he portrays an assassin who, despite himself, is assigned a perilous mission aboard a train. The trip between Tokyo and Moriaka will experience some turbulence when he discovers that other assassins are linked to his case. Who will survive to the terminus?
This is not the first time that Leitch has called on the American actor. We saw it briefly in Deadpool 2, when the X-Force carries out its first mission. A brief cameo that will no doubt have convinced the director and Brad Pitt to collaborate for a feature film, and this time, Brad Pitt gets the lead role.
He will give the line Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Joey King (The Kissing Booth). We will also find a permanent member, the only one to have survived, of the X-Force: Zazie Beetz. In the second part of the adventures of Dead Pool, the actress camped Domino. Michael Shannon (Superman: Man of Steel) and Hiroyuki Sanada (mortal kombat) complete the list.
This summer at the cinema
Sony gives us an appointment on July 20 at the cinema. An ideal release window for what promises to be the action movie of the summer. The first images are rather encouraging and should delight fans of fighting. We also recognize the style of the filmmaker, who went through John Wick and Atomic Blonde.
Until then, we will find Brad Pitt on the poster of the Secret of the Lost Cityromantic comedy with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum.
Directed by Aaron and Adam Nee, the film follows the adventures of a novelist who finds herself embarked against her will on a vast treasure hunt in the heart of a hostile jungle. Brad Pitt will play lifeguards.
