SoftwareOne debuts CEO. The company made official last March the appointment of Brian Duffy as its new CEO. Duffy, who until then held the position of president of cloud at SAP, arrives to hand over to Dieter Scholosser, who after four years leaves the post. The previous one in the position was in charge of overseeing the acquisition of Comparex in October 2019.
Brian Duffy comes to SoftwareOne from SAP, where after 20 years of work as Cloud President and member responsible for the creation of RISE with SAP, he joins the organization to continue his successful journey.

Brian Duffy’s career
The CEO of SoftwareOne comes to the company after spending almost 20 years at SAP, where he held a leadership position in the organization, being Cloud President. Previously, Duffy has also previously held other positions, such as president of northern europebeing responsible for the integral business in the region, and also as Head of Global Strategic Initiatives.
In his role as President of Northern Europe, the CEO oversaw merchandising planning, sales strategies and partner engagements. As head of Global Strategic Initiatives, he was charged with negotiating trade agreements globally.
For his part, Dieter Schlosser, the previous one in the position, has been proud of his years in charge of the position in the company.
