The Chuwi UBook X (2023) is a 2-in-1 with Windows that follows the strategy of the Chinese company in the design of its PCs, combining good screens and chassis made of premium materials with older processors. The objective is none other than to keep prices low, an unequivocal sign of this manufacturer.
We are talking about a device that is used as a mobile tablet with its screen 12-inch multi-touch IPS and native resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, and that works as a 2-in-1 on the desktop thanks to the integrated rear kickstand that allows you to tilt it and the addition of a keyboard and stylus.
The chassis of the Chuwi UBook X is made of a magnesium and polycarbonate alloy with a thickness of 9 mm and a weight of 810 grams. As the main engine, it uses a processor Intel Core i5-1210Y. A fairly old model with 4 cores and 8 threads, but that Chuwi believes is enough to move this tablet. Yes, we must highlight its ultra low consumption with a TDP of 7 watts.
It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage capacity. It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 and has a set of ports that includes:

It also has rear and front cameras of 5 and 2 MP respectively, and stereo speakers. The device has a built-in kickstand that allows you to place it at angles of up to 145 degrees when using it on a desktop. The tablet can be complemented with a detachable keyboard and stylus Chuwi HiPen H7 with support for 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Chuwi UBook X (2023) is available on the manufacturer’s web portal with Windows 11 pre-installed and for a price of 359 euros. Very adjusted considering that the keyboard and the pen only cost 40 euros, which allows you to obtain a 2-in-1 with Windows for less than 400 euros. Fair in performance, but the cheapest you can find in the segment.
