ENISA signed operations for 86.8 million euros in 2021

Last year, the National Innovation Company, attached to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, ENISA, tested a total of 560 operations, for an amount of more than 93.4 million euros. According to an official statement, the entity has signed 500 operations, for some 86.8 million euros, which have made it possible to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the growth of startups and SMEs.

This past year the number of funding requests received has risen to 1,853. ENISA has had a total of five financing lines: Young Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs and Growth, endowed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (482 approved for an amount of 79.4 million euros); and two new lines: AgroInnpulso (agri-food sector), endowed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (32 applications approved for 5.3 million euros); and Digital Entrepreneurs, endowed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation (46 applications approved for an amount of 8.6 million euros).

At ENISA, favoring the creation of start-ups, the growth of SMEs, the disappearance of the gender gap in entrepreneurship, as well as providing the necessary tools to promote the agro-rural sector are great challenges that we have faced with enthusiasm, facilitating these changes through participatory loans, impact financing”points out José Bayón, CEO of ENISA.
