Even before the start of MWC 2022, new details around the Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro have just leaked.
On February 28, Realme will hold an event during MWC 2022 to announce the Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro. Already seen in China, the series is due to arrive in Europe and symbolizes the brand’s new ambitions. Realme wants to take the leap forward with the GT 2 Pro, which it considers its premium “first flagship”. Pending its formalization, a leak signed Sudhanshu Ambhore tells us more about the prices and colors of these smartphones.
In European markets, the Realme GT 2 is expected to come in two variants. The first would have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, against 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB for the second. On the price side, the two models are likely to be sold respectively at 539 euros and 589 euros. This model would be offered in white (Paper White), green (Paper Green) and black (Steel Black).
The Realme GT 2 is due to land in our region with a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen in Full HD + at 120 Hz. It will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 chip and a 5,000 mAh battery. For the photo, a triple module comprising a main sensor of 50 megapixels (with OIS), an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels and a macro module of 2 megapixels is expected. On the front, a 16-megapixel front camera is mooted.
On the side of the Realme GT 2 Pro, a single version flanked by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage would appear. It would be marketed at a price of 789 euros, in the same colors as the classic model.
Realme GT 2 Pro: a contained price and high-end specs?
This smartphone promises a solid technical sheet, starting with its 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO and QHD + screen. This panel would offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz; the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip must offer high-end performance. The photo part would not be outdone with a triple sensor.
It revolves around a main sensor of 50 megapixels (with OIS); supported by a second 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 3-megapixel microscopic lens. Its 5,000 mAh battery will benefit from a fast charge of 65 W or 125 W.
For the officialization of the characteristics and prices, it will be necessary to wait a few more days. During its conference, Realme will also unveil its 125 W fast charge. A little later in the year, the brand will present a promising GT Neo 3. Smartphones that can help the manufacturer continue its ascent in Europe.
