GuestReady boost its business in Spain with 16 million euros

According to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in July 2022 alone, overnight stays in non-hotel tourist accommodation reached 21.8 million, which represents an increase of 72.9% in the demand for this type of service.

In this context, GuestReady, a tourist rental management platform, has announced its arrival at Spain. The objective is to develop its business in this market, thus promising to revolutionize the management of short and medium-term tourist apartments, also helping Spanish owners to increase the performance of their properties by up to 150%.

With an international team with years of experience and a portfolio which grew almost 70% throughout 2021, GuestReady is committed to Spain within the framework of its international expansion strategy, with forecasts of working with more than 50 properties in 2022, and reaching 200 in the next year, thus promoting the digitization of the Spanish tourism sector.

Since 2018, the startup has achieved raise more than 16 million euros in financing, a figure that demonstrates the trust that investors have placed in its business model. Likewise, it should be noted that, to date, the company has managed more than 2.6 million nights reserved globally, with the trust of more than 4,000 owners and an average occupancy rate of the managed properties of 78 %.

After the arrival of the pandemic, the tourism sector in Spain has gone from representing 12.4% of GDP in 2019 to just 7.4%. Despite all this, the importance of this economic activity allows us to conclude that its recovery after the pandemic will be a turning point for Spain’s economic growth, highlighting its resilience.
