Intrum, one of the leading firms in credit and asset management services, opens the call for applications for its Datathon Intrum 2023which will take place on June 16 and 17 in Madrid. This is the third edition of its Hackathon for Financial Well-being, which this time will be focused on data, becoming a Datathon and which, as in the rest of the deliveries , will have a single objective: to promote the development of innovative solutions that promote the financial well-being of consumers.
The focus of this year’s meeting, organized by Intrum with the collaboration of Banco Sabadell, Google and The Valley, is the application of Data Science for the creation of a product, service or tool that improves the quality of the data, boosts the experience of the user or prevent non-payment. To do this, the participants will have two days (from Friday at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday at 5:00 p.m.) to develop and present their ideas, accompanied at all times by the best technology and support and mentoring. from a team of top-level Data Science Experts.
The registration call, open from today until June 13, is aimed at Data experts (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Advanced Analytics, data programmers…), technological profiles, professionals specialized in business innovation, entrepreneurs or school students of business. Subscription is completely free and can be done individually or in a group.

In order to analyze the application of Big Data in the financial management or default prevention sector, the company has organized, in parallel to the competition, several presentations with Data experts from large companies, such as Conchita Diazresponsible for Google’s AI/Data/Machine Learning, or himself Luca Zuccoliamong others.
At the end of the meeting, each team will present their solutions to a jury of experts, who will assess each proposal and choose, according to their professional criteria, the three winners. The groups that offer the best ideas will be awarded a prize of €5,000 in the case of the 1st place, €3,000 for the 2nd winning team and €1,000 for the 3rd winning group.
