The price of the Ryzen 7000 has dropped significantly since its launch, and this trend has not changed in the last weeks. Thanks to these continuous price drops we can buy the Ryzen 9 7950X for 624.34 euros, or the Ryzen 9 7900X for 492.05 euros, figures far removed from their launch prices, which were 871 and 684 euros respectively.
That drop in the sale price of the Ryzen 7000 series is mainly due to three big keys: the competition from Intel, which has very interesting products and higher single-thread performance, the high cost of the AM5 platform, which has negatively affected consumer interest, and the value that the AM4 platform and Ryzen 5000 continue to offer, which they can be purchased at much lower prices.
During the last weeks the price of the Ryzen 7000 has continued to fall, and it has reached such a point that other chips such as the Ryzen 7 7700X and the Ryzen 5 7600X they can be purchased for only 363.11 euros and 258.79 eurosfigures that even place them in direct competition with some Ryzen 5000X.
In Spain the price of the Ryzen 7000X3D has not yet started to drop, but I can confirm that in some markets they have already suffered some discounts, so it’s just a matter of time until they spread to our country.
In Amazon USA (United States) I have been able to see that the Ryzen 9 7950X3D has dropped in price by 100 dollarsthat is, it has gone from $699 to $599, and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D it has fallen from $599 to $549. With the arrival of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the price of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D has also dropped significantly, and has remained at $299.99.
If we take a look at the best-selling processors on Amazon USA we see that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has taken first place, followed by the Intel Core i9-13900K and the Ryzen 5 5600X. In fourth place is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and the top ten is closed by the Ryzen 7 5800X, Ryzen 5 5600G, Intel Core i7-12700K, Ryzen 7 5700X and Intel Core i7-13700K.
Other US retailers are also offering deep discounts on many Ryzen 7000 series and Ryzen 7000X3D processors. The Ryzen 5000 series have dropped a lot in price and are at a level that makes them truly interesting. For example, the Ryzen 7 5700X can be purchased in Spain for only 211.67 euros.
We will see how the price of the Ryzen 7000 and Ryzen 7000X3D evolves in the coming weeks, but I think that it is very likely that we will meet again with a dropespecially if the demand does not pick up after the arrival of the A620 motherboards.
