Marta del Castillo is the new CEO of Social Nest Foundation

Social Nest Foundation has decided to give a boost to its strategy, opening a headquarters in Madrid and naming Martha of the Castle new platform CEOwhose objective will be to consolidate the strategies of the organization.

The global platform of Valencian origin for entrepreneurs and investors, arrives in the capital, with the aim of identifying new opportunities to generate impact.

Social Nest Foundation has been leading programs and activities for 12 years in which more than 15,000 people have already participated. Currently, the platform has a community of 300 entrepreneurs, 500 investors and 50 companies. This opening coincides with the position of the capital as the main hub for entrepreneurship in our country and one of the most important in Europe.

For her part, Marta del Castillo joins the foundation after extensive experience leading organizations with high impact and innovation. At the national level, she has recently served as CEO of South Summit, while at the international level she has been CEO of Koga, the first B Corp in Paraguay and founder of the B movement in this country.

The new CEO of the Social Nest Foundation, Marta del Castillo, has indicated that the foundation “It is a reference in the sector and is constantly evolving. We face the challenge of consolidating the growth of the Social Nest Foundation with the opening of the new headquarters in Madrid, with which we intend to continue projecting the entity on a global level and leading the drive for solutions to the increasingly pressing challenges that we face. we face global society, from climate change to social, economic and technological inequalities”.

Other appointments

For its part, Margaret Alborsfounder of the Social Nest Foundation, will take on the role of CEO exclusively and will leave the position of CEO that he has also held until now. Albors will focus his efforts on representing the platform and its institutional visibility, as well as defining, together with the board of trustees and the management team, the strategic lines to continue promoting the growth of Social Nest.

In addition to Marta del Castillo, Samir Selim also joins the foundation as the new head of impact, after previously being vice president of PKB Privatbank. Likewise, María Cano, founder of Canussa, will hold the position of head of entrepreneurship at Social Nest, and Juan Francisco Reyes that of head of business and partnershipdDevelopment, after his time at SURA Investment Management.

In addition, Mónica Vásquez del Solar and Krloos Rivera will have new responsibilities within the platform. The first will become the new head of strategy and impact, and Rivera, executive, global growth & ecosystem.
