Oppo is currently going through a troubled period, especially in Europe. The Chinese brand is indeed the target of a lawsuit brought by Nokia for violation of a fundamental patent whose operating license expired in 2021. Since then, the two companies have been negotiating the price of the renewal, without finding a OK. The countries concerned are the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Germany. Among all the questions that have arisen since the conflict was made public, one of them concerns the maintenance of products already sold or still on store shelves. As if to respond to this confirmation, Oppo Benelux has published a list of terminals that will receive the Android 14 update. And more precisely the version of ColorOS based on Android 14. This list has 11 terminals. It covers all market segments and not just high-end phones. Here is the full list:

You will notice a few notable absentees in this list. First the Find N2 Flip, Oppo’s latest high-end smartphone to be launched in France. But it will be affected by the migration to Android 14. Indeed, in a previous press release, Oppo France confirmed that the participation of the phone in the beta. In this same press release, the brand explained that the Find N2 Flip would definitely switch to Android 14 with the final version of ColorOS under this version of the operating system.

Another notable absentee, the Find X5 Lite, a smartphone based on a Dimensity 900 and 8 GB of RAM. This phone was released in 2022 and should have gotten a minimum major Android update. There is a possible explanation for these two absences: the Oppo Benelux catalog is different from that of Oppo France. This would also explain why the Reno8 T is present in the list when it never arrived in France. We will update this list as soon as possible with information from the brand’s French team.
