The Hammerhead series leads Razer’s catalog of wireless in-ear headphones in terms of performance and a new Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed model has just been introduced that claims to be the “definitive” for Gaming multi platform.
A couple of years ago we had the opportunity to try the flagship model of this line of headphones, the Hammerhead True Wireless Pro. And we really liked it. As was to be expected in a company that takes care of its products like few others, the series It has been renewed advancing on the known strengths and with a couple of novelties which makes them even more interesting. To summarize: hybrid active noise cancellation; THX certified audio; a wireless charging case; RGB lighting and enormous versatility of use for mobile devices, PCs and video game consoles.
The Razer Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed can be connected via Bluetooth (latest available version 5.3) to any compatible device. One of the novelties of this version is a small dongle included that can be connected to a PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck or a PC to enjoy a 2.4GHz wireless connection which offers greater guarantees of operation and latencies, because Razer promises a record mark of less than 40 milliseconds.
Audio quality is guaranteed from previous versions and new settings from THX engineers promise well-balanced frequency response, minimal distortion at high output levels, and top-notch noise isolation. This is helped by hybrid active cancellation noise, fully adjustable. Advanced feedback and forward microphones monitor the surrounding sound environment, allowing users to cancel noise during gaming sessions or adjust the in-app slider to control how much ambient sound they want to hear.
Like any Razer peripheral, the headset supports Razer Chroma RGB, surely the most comprehensive lighting ecosystem on the market for gaming devices. This technology offers customizable multi-color lighting with more than 16.8 million color options, countless customization patterns, and dynamic lighting effects that react to gaming.
Last and not least in wireless in-ear headphones, we must highlight the fast charging case that they include and that for the occasion introduces a novelty that we missed in previous versions, the compatibility with wireless charging under Qi technology. It is compatible with Razer charging pads and other chargers wireless, while also featuring a Type-C port for wired charging. The case provides 24 extra hours of battery life at 6.5 hours of autonomy of the headphones.
In summary: very well renewed these Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed that are already available in some markets with an official price of $199. In Europe, they will cost 229 euro.
