Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro, new smartphone reinforced with military-grade resistance

The South Korean giant has presented the Galaxy XCover6 Pro, a new reinforced smartphone with which Samsung is aimed at those professionals who are on the front lines and who need a terminal capable of keeping up with them, and face any challenge with guarantees even when in harsh environments.

At the design level, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro adopts a modern line thanks to its all-screen finish with fairly small edges, and a notch in the upper part in the shape of a drop of water where a 13 MP camera is integrated. On the back we have a dual camera setup with LED flash, made up of a 50 MP sensor and an 8 MP lens that works as a wide angle.

The screen of the Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro is 6.6 incheshas FullHD+ resolution (2,408 x 1,080 pixels), is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ glass sheet and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The SoC that mounts this terminal is a Snapdragon 778Gwhich has an octa-core CPU and an ADreno 642L GPU.

Your RAM configuration is 6GB and has a storage capacity of 128GB, expandable thanks to its microSD card slot. For the rest, it comes equipped with Android 12 as the operating system (customized with Samsung’s One UI layer), has a 5G modem and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. It mounts a fingerprint reader on the side, it is compatible with Samsung DeX and it has a 4,050 mAh battery that supports fast recharging.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro is MIL-STD-810H certified for military-grade ruggedness, is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance, and can safely withstand drops to hard floors (cement and concrete) from a height of 1.5 meters. It is available from this same month of July with a price of 599 euros in its standard version, and 609 euros in its Enterprise Edition version.
