Korean business newspaper Chosun Ilbo has just confirmed that Samsung will hold an Unpacked conference on July 26, 2023. This corroborates other reports that also mentioned a late July date. On the program of the event, the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5but also three tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra.

The latter should benefit from a big update compared to the previous year, since we already know that the model the smaller 11-inch will upgrade to a 120H OLED displayz, thus abandoning the old LCD screen. This is good news for consumers, who until now were forced to opt for the larger models if they wanted to have a better screen.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 are highly anticipated

The stars of the conference will be the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, which will directly replace the popular Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Few improvements are expected on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, but we know that the Flip flip smartphone will benefit from one of the best features of the Korean manufacturer’s high-end smartphones: DeX mode. Thanks to this, users will be able to transform the smartphone into a real computer by connecting it to a monitor.

The external screen of the smartphone will also be entitled to a novelty, since Samsung has opted this time for a larger 3.4-inch screen, with a definition of 720 x 748 pixels. That’s a lot more than the tiny 1.9-inch screen of the current model. This should allow Samsung to make this second screen much more useful, and we expect to see the arrival of new widgets or new features. However, it should still not allow you to control the entire smartphone, as is the case with Motorola, for example. It remains to be seen if Samsung will have any surprises in store for us at this conference.or if everything has already leaked on the web.
