Following the organization of the conference on open innovation models, held on September 7 at the Global Omnium Auditorium, the alliance of Sevillian companies Proxy and Secmotic has given rise to the call for a challenge in IoT (internet of things) from its FIWOO platform, which will reward solutions for digitization use cases in the agricultural, industrial, city, port, energy and health sectors. All types of applicants can participate in the #Fiwoo-IoT challenge with their proposals: innovative people, including students, companies of any sector and size, researchers and technology centers. The #FIWOO-IoT challenge is intended to identify and support the development of vertical/use cases for sectors where the intensive use of the IoT, combined with Artificial Intelligence propose new solutions to current challenges. It will be valued that the use cases incorporate the end user in their design, development and subsequent implementation.
The seven selected proposals will be able to access training premium access to the functionalities of the ‘FIWOO’ IoT platform, possibility of a collaboration agreement with Proxya for the commercialization of the vertical/solution developed.
The proposals for the proposed challenge must be original and propose projects for the implementation of proofs of concept or pilots of technological solutions that are in an advanced state of definition, development or validation.
SVQ Emprende is the collaborative initiative, sponsored by the City Council from its area Seville Entrepreneur, which already brings together 30 public and private entities that in Seville and its surroundings offer resources and/or services to support the creation of companies and the development of their activity.
The key to the evolution of many traditional sectors, such as those targeted by the application of this #FIWOO-IoT Challenge, will be in the exploitation of the data obtained from the implantation of sensors and other devices. The IoT Platforms come to cover this need, providing a holistic model of data management and exploitation without silos, in which the combination and analysis of the same will help improve decision-making.
