The iPhone 14 Pro will be more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro

Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared a new prediction explaining why he thinks Apple will increase the price of the iPhone 14 Proand therefore also that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, since it would not make any sense to only raise the price of the first and leave the second intact, in fact this could cause problems when it comes to fitting both models, since they could end up stepping on each other in terms of price.

First of all, let’s see exactly what kind of upload Apple could make. According to Kuo, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro would rise up to 15%, a figure that would mean a significant increase in price, so much so that in fact said terminal would end up being much more expensive than initially planned. If this is confirmed, the iPhone 14 Pro would cost 1,332 euros. For comparison purposes, the iPhone 13 Pro cost 1,159 euros at launch.

This price increase would be justified by rising production costs of the new Apple terminals, including both the cost of materials and everything related to transportation. On the other hand, there is also talk of the improvements that the iPhone 14 Pro will bringand that these will be much more marked than those of the iPhone 14, which will also be more expensive and will help to further justify its higher sale price.

Among the most important novelties that the iPhone 14 Pro will bring are the jump to a screen with circular islands to integrate the cameras, the use of the new Apple A16 SoCthe use of titanium in the chassis, a premium material that is lighter and more resistant than steel, and the increase in storage capacity to 256 GB.

It was also rumored that Apple was going to raise the price of the iPhone 14, but this is not confirmed, and in fact some sources say that due to the few new features that they will bring compared to the iPhone 13, they will not increase in price, and that Apple will limit said rise to the Pro and Pro Max models. There is less left to get out of doubt.
