A new sci-fi series South Korean is about to make its debut on Netflix. His name is The Silent Sea and, today, we can give it a first look thanks to the teaser trailer released in these hours by the official YouTube channel of the platform in Asia.

The series is described as a “Mysterious suspenseful sci-fi show set on a moon base” and judging by the first few images, it looks like it could be a really good series to follow.

An abandoned moon base. A mission with a 10% survival rate. One after another, the crew members die. ” Set in a future land that has suffered desertification, The Silent Sea is the story of the members of a special team sent to obtain a mysterious sample from an abandoned research facility on the moon.
The title of the series is clearly a reference to the Sea of Tranquility, which is 544 miles in diameter and is also where Apollo 11 first landed in 1969.
This series stars Bae Doona (Cloud Atlas), Gong Yoo, Lee Joon, Kim Sun-young, Lee Mu-saeng and Lee Sung-wook.
Netflix will release the series with all 8 episodes of the first season on December 24, 2021.
