The Spanish startup, Logalty, joins three European Blockchain consortiums

As indicated in w3volution, the Logalty Group, company specialized in Legaltech and Regtech in Spain, has been chosen by the European Commission to join three European Blockchain consortiums. Specifically, to DC4EU (Digital Credentials for Europe), EBSI-VECTOR (EBSI enabled Verifiable Credentials & Trusted Organizations Registries) and EBSI-NE (EBSI Network Expansion).

All of them are part of the initiative elDAS2, which seeks to establish a new framework for the European Digital Identity for the free circulation of data between companies and public administrations within the EU. The actions included in each consortium will have to be executed within a maximum period of 24 months.

The DC4EU and EBSI-VECTOR consortia aim to create a decentralized digital identity solution for use by the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) in the fields of education and social security. The first is coordinated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and the second by the Italian company Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SpA.

In DC4EU, Grupo Logalty will intervene in offering a complete design of the European Digital Identity Wallet (EU Digital ID Wallet), which covers the needs of all interested parties. This will allow you to position yourself in the new paradigm of digital identity provided for in the eIDAS 2 Regulation, acquire relevant knowledge about the technical operation of the European digital identity portfolio and anticipate access to this market. Together with Grupo Logalty, entities from 22 States (20 from the EU plus Norway and Ukraine) will participate in this consortium.
