What is Twitch Partner Plus
Under the name of Twitch Partner Plus, the brand has announced a new type of agreement for partners that will allow them to obtain higher income due to a new distribution of benefits. The idea is that if you get subscribers, and keep them, you can get more income than before, since the brand has announced that it will give the streamer the 70% of income by subscription obtained, instead of the 50% that until now was offered.
Requirements
But it will not be so easy to reach that 70%. Users must get 350 subscriptionsand at that point, keep them and do not go below that number for 3 months. Once you have passed that point, the membership will move to the new Partner Plus level, and you will earn 70% of the benefits for 12 months.
Thereafter you will have 1 year to earn more money, however, Twitch will distribute 70% as long as the benefits do not exceed $100,000. We do not know what treatment they will give from $100,000, but we imagine that they will distribute 50/50.
If during the 12-month period you drop below 350 subscribers again, the agreement will be maintained, but after the deadline, you will lose the Partner again, and you will have to exceed the figure for another 3 months to regain the term one year as Partner Plus.
Only with real subscribers
The problem that some smaller streamers might run into is that to reach the Partner Plus level you need 350 recurring subscriptions, that is, it’s not worth with having 350 Prime subscriptions. This will make the process a little more difficult, as there are usually quite a few Prime subscriptions to be obtained due to the ease of the process for some users.
