Artwork inspired by The Mandalorian

There are barely two days left before we can enjoy the start of a new season of The Mandalorian -premieres this Wednesday the 1st- and fans of the Disney+ series are surely already nervous about the arrival of the new adventures of the Mandalorian through the distant galaxy. If this is your case, know that at least you can calm your anxiety with some original illustrations that have recently come to light, as well as with a new (and official) comic that has been announced. We tell you all.

Star Wars and art go hand in hand

Illustrations about the star wars world there are many… but like those of scadarts few, of course. This artist who shows his art online, relying on platforms such as Instagram, is a true fan of Star Wars and has decided to demonstrate it with some original creations in which the universe of George Lucas and art (of very different styles ) come together in ways you would never imagine.

As you are seeing on these lines, @Scadarts he uses known paintings as a base to modify them to his liking and include elements related to Star Wars. An idea that has been developing for a long time and in which, of course, there is no shortage of allusions to the Disney+ series, with images of Baby Yoda or the Mandalorian protagonist himself, among others -he even dares with Pedro Pascal.

A original work for which you can even get a printed t-shirt -check her Instagram profile, where you have a link to her store and other illustrations. and that it was worth sharing here now that season 3 of The Mandalorian It is just around the corner. Check them out because they are so worth it.

A new comic at the gates

Those who like to read graphic comics will surely applaud the news of the arrival of a new comic from The Mandalorian. It is a series made up of 8 numbers that will be in charge of fit the second season of the series. It will therefore be the continuation of the idea of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 1, in which the first 8 chapters that we already saw in Disney were reflected and in which the writer Rodney Barnes and the cartoonist Georges Jeanty were in charge of the main work. Now the same Jeanty will deal with the first installment while Steven Cummings (from the canon comics mini-series Star Wars: Hidden Empire) will take care of the rest.

Marvel Comics will be in charge of materializing this new series that, as we pointed out, will delight all fans who want to relive the adventures of season 2 seen on TV. Unfortunately, its launch is not immediate: according to the first reports, we will have to wait until this summer to see it in stores, and possibly the distribution in Spain will even happen a little later.

You have to have a little patience. This is the way.
