Hand in hand with Illumination, the studio responsible for mega-hits like the saga of The minions wave of Sings! comes this new animated version of the Nintendo plumber which, compared to that strange –and horrifying– experiment of 1993, has garnered both box office success and reception by fans.
We are not lying if we tell you that while we saw it in the cinema, every time an element of the Mario games was referenced, the whole room applauded excitedly. But, in addition, also if we are clever we will find small easter egg that refer to other titles of the company. Next we will bring you what they are and where to play these little winks that the Japanese have put in their film.
Of course, before starting let us know that, although we are not going to spoil no main plot element of the feature film, yes We are going to talk about those references that we will find throughout its 92 minutes. With nothing more to add… Let’s go!

These references to games can be found in many ways. From a poster –of metroid– in the distance to a headline on the front page of a newspaper, going through clear appearances on the screen.
