With this app you can transfer music from Spotify to Apple Music

If you are going to move to Apple Music, you are probably looking for a quick way to move all your content: songs, playlists and, in short, not lose our entire current library, and continue enjoying it on the new streaming platform. So, if you are looking for a quick way to do it, this interests you (and a lot).

How to transfer songs from Spotify to Apple Music

To transfer your entire Spotify library to Apple Music, be it albums, playlists, or individual songs, the Songshift app is one of the best solutions out there, and it’s the one we’re going to bring you today.

This is a free application for download called SonsShift, but it has payment plans to expand functions. However, with the free plan you have to know that you will be able to transfer all the songs you want, without limits. So if you have a large Spotify library, you won’t have any problems.

The first thing SongShift is going to ask us when we open it is to add music services: in this case, Spotify and Apple Music. Of course, keep in mind that to use this app, you will need to have an active subscription to Apple Music. With Spotify, you can use it in the same way with the free plan. Once we have connected both services, we will see an interface where we will have to press the “+” icon to add what we want to transfer.

First of all, you have to select Spotify, since it is the source platform. Here we can select whether to transfer the entire library at once, select the albums we want, specific lists or just the songs we want. Next, we select the destination platform: in this case, Apple Music.

Then a screen will appear where we will see what is going to be transferred and the platform. Press the Start Shifts button and then we will jump to another screen where the button appears confirm pairings. It may be the case that there is a song that has not been located well. If this happens, we will be able to review the paired songs.

When we press the confirmation button, two things can happen: the process starts automatically, or we will be redirected to the main screen, where we will see the transfer, with a blue message that says Review. You simply have to click on that transfer, and click on Start pairing. Once we have done this, the songs will begin to be transferred and, automatically, they will appear on Apple Music.

How the procedure works

If you are concerned that your privacy is in danger, due to the fact that this app accesses our entire catalog and moves it from one site to another, you can rest easy. What SongShift does is analyze the visible face of our library, as if it were someone who consults our profile. And analyze, one by one, the songs we have to identify them.

When you have to transfer them to Apple Music, the application searches this other platform for the songs that we have on Spotify to match. If they match, it adds them to our Apple Music library for us.

If you look, when we log in to Spotify, we do it through the Spotify website itself, which in this case appears as a drop-down browser tab. In addition, both Apple Music and Spotify allow third-party applications and services to access to see what is inside our libraries.
