Apple is tougher than Alcoy when it comes to discounts and promotions. It costs you an awful lot to promote a campaign of additional discounts for some specific reason (Black Friday, for example) and when it does, it’s usually not great.

So when you launch some additional discount promotion on one of your devices, it becomes quite the news, without a doubt. This is what just happened with the offer that Apple is now making with its MacBook Pro M1. Special discount for volume purchase.

mark gurman has published on his blog a new campaign of additional discounts that is promoted by Apple. It is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that purchase multiple units of the MacBook Pro with M1 processor.

The promotion consists of the fact that if a small or medium-sized company buys at a time between 5 and 24 units of MacBook Pro M1 (14 or 16 inches), they will obtain a direct discount of the 8% of the total of the purchase. If that company buys 25 units or more, then the discount goes up from 8 to 10%.

said offer ends December 24, just before Christmas, and only applicable to companies, not to private users. This is how they try to discourage the famous “joint purchases” so common in technology forums.

Without a doubt, this news has caught more than one by surprise, since Apple does not usually do this type of campaign. The reason may be that they have too much stock of the offered laptops, and they want to get it out of their warehouses before launching the new MacBook Pros with the new processors. M2 Pro Y M2Max.

These new models should already be on the market, but their launch has been delayed until beginning of the year. It therefore fits with the offer of the models with the M1 processor, a month or two before the launch of the new models.
