Anime Factory has released online the first official trailer in Italian of Beautiful (Ryū to Sobakasu no Hime – The princess of dragons and freckles) the new anime directed by Mamoru Hosoda (The girl who leapt through time, Wolf children, Mirai).
The feature, which will arrive in our cinemas in early 2022, premiered today at the Rome Film Festival, in the section Alice in the City in which Belle is in competition.

Belle is a touching story of formation, of family ties, of love between parents and children. A story that deepens the friendship that transcends the species and the bonds between our lives.
In Belle, Hosoda took up the challenge of representing the ever-changing online world by inserting the story into the world of, a huge online network with over 5 billion registered users. As already done in his past works such as Digimon Adventure: Our War Game! (2000) and Summer Wars (2009), director Hosoda uses the digital world as a backdrop to delve into themes of today’s society, basing the story on his most recent insights.
As revealed by sensei Hosoda, the film invites us to reflect on the really important things in life in a world that goes faster and faster:

Release date and plot of the Belle anime
In Italy Belle will be released in cinemas on 20 January 2022, distributed by Anime Factory in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures.
Suzu, a 17-year-old high school student, lives in the countryside of Kochi Prefecture with her father after losing her mother at a young age. The untimely loss made Suzu close in on herself and away from her father and the thing she loved most: singing.
After realizing that writing music is her only purpose in life, Suzu enters, a virtual world with five billion members online, where she becomes Belle, a world-renowned avatar for her amazing voice.
Her encounter with a mysterious dragon leads her to embark on a journey full of adventures, challenges and love, in search of her true nature.
