Reserving Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal will be the next major release in the classic franchise, taking a gameplay heavily inspired by devil 3 directly to the cell phone screen.

To pre-register the mobile game, simply visit the game’s official page at Google Play Store or in App Store – depending on whether you have an Android or iOS device. But why book a title that is ultimately free-to-play?

The answer is: gifts. Yes, Blizzard has warned that if you reach 30 million From early registration until the arrival of Diablo Immortal, the community will earn a series of cosmetic items as a reward. The so-called “Horadrim cosmetic set” will be available for redemption until 30 days after game launch.

It’s worth noting that while June 30th appears as the release date for play after pre-registration is completed, Blizzard cautions that this is only “temporary information until we have a final plan in place.” That is, the game still does not have a release date beyond the broad “2022”.

The studio also took the opportunity to talk about a feature that is new to the franchise and should please players who enjoy trying a little bit of everything in the game: class change.

The idea here is to allow you much more freedom of choice in Diablo Immortal than in any other Diablo. Instead of having to create other secondary characters (the famous “alts), just visit an NPC in Westmarch to choose a new class – and even change your hero’s appearance – at any point in the game.

According to Blizzard, the tool will ensure that you can enjoy another style of play without having to divide your time between multiple characters, since, in the change, the hero retains levels, stored items, story progression and evolution in the different systems of the game. You also get gear appropriate for the new class, just having to chase specific legendaries.

The tool will allow you to return to the previous class or try a third without any kind of punishment – although the developers are still thinking about limitations for the game. The studio explains that the feature will not be available at the launch of Diablo Immortal, but should arrive in a future update.
